About

I’m Fay Wolf. I write sad songs, I wrote a book about decluttering, and for almost twenty years I helped people make room in their homes for the lives they wanted.

In 2008, I cleared out a closet, put a keyboard in it, and, to my great surprise, started writing songs. I hadn’t written one since I was twelve, when a voice in my head told me I wasn’t a writer. Turns out making space for art works.

Most of what I make comes back to the same things: being human, being imperfect, and the fact that I’m alive right now and will one day die.
